Positive Behavior Intervention & Support (PBIS)

At West Hanover Elementary, we use schoolwide expectations and rewards as part of our behavior management system.  Our behavioral expectations center around the acronym ROAR - Be Respectful, Take Ownership, Always Do Your Best, Be Responsible.  Students are rewarded with “Wild Cash” that they can use to “purchase” raffle tickets and tickets to school events.  Our expectations are consistent and pervasive across all school settings.  At West Hanover, our Wildcats truly “ROAR”!
